Winter preservation
The cooling treatment of water products used in the summer term, offer a comprehensive protection from corrosion and deposits only during the operating time of the circulations. If the plants are emptied to the winter, the anti-corrosion protection also disappears with the cooling water in the channel. The atmospheric oxygen has in addition the possibility now among emptied lines of reacting in the system. It therefore can without corresponding precautions, too considerable corrosion, in the winter months
Circulations in winter
Empty system cooling tower from syringes completely, and clean, then fill the system newly. Occurring to 1:250 related to the system volume into the cooling tower proportionally at a running circulating pump GEWA AI 640. Letting circulating pump go approx. 5 - 6 hours. Emptying system completely again
Systems which are emptied only to frost limit
Empty system cooling tower from syringes completely, and clean, then fill the system newly. At running circulating pump GEWA AI 640 of proportionally 1: 250 and GEWA B 352 of proportionally 1:2000, respectively related to the system volume, fill into the cooling tower. Letting circulating pump go approx. 5 - 6 hours. Letting down system water-level to under the frost limit. Emptying completely and filling newly system before return to service
